Evaluation about Radiance Descending
Ima start by telling you what i liked and didnt like about my book. What i didnt like about my book is that it didnt tell me wether paul ended up liking his brother jacob with down syndrome, all it said was that he felt something inside when jacob touched his nose the day of his birthday and that doesnt really show if they made up or not. What i did like about my book was that it was trying to give us all a message that we should never mistreat kids with down syndrome because they have feelings too, they are human beings just like us.What i noticed about pauls character is that he started to be a mean person ever since his brother jacob was born.It didnt really tell me what he learned or how he grew out of that state but im pretty sure the day of jacobs birthday he wanted to make jacob happy. The main conflict in the book is that paul turns jealous because everybody around him is paying less attention to him than before so he grows hatred for his jacob and that leads to him not accepting jacob as a brother and treating him bad.Paul is embarrassed of jacob and thinks that because everybody knows he is his brother that nobody will like him and he also thinks that jacob ruined his life.At times paul would get these little feelings that he wanted to bond with jacob but his bad thoughts about jacob would come back to his mind and it wouldnt let him even try to get along with him.

Significant moment
I have found a couple of significant moments in my book"Radiance Descending".One of them that i wanted to share is"we need your help. You cant go on forever as if you dont have a brother," his father said. He let the sneaker drop onto the floor. It will be see different--if we're seen together," Paul said after a moment".I learned alot about the character Paul and what he's going through with that excerpt.Basically Paul is the type of person who is embarrassed to have a brother that has down syndrome and he thinks his life is going to be ruined because of his brother "Jacob". Thats a big struggle for Paul as you can see, it's really hard for him to accept that jacob is his brother and also to try and be happy with knowing about jacob. What i predict is going to happen next is that paul will be thinking more and more everyday about trying to accept jacob the way he is sooner or later.

My New Book...
Im reading a book called Radiance Descending by Paula Fox. I barely started reading the book today and the main macharacter is a boy named Paul. Something important that you should know about him so far is that he is a mean boy and he doesn't care about hurting anybody's feelings, well at least that's the impression im getting from what ive read so far. This story is taking place mostly in pauls house, its in the past, i dont think theres anything important about that, i barely started reading this book so im not so sure where and when it takes place very good. Here is a significant moment from the book"Later, in the afternoon when paul came home from school and raced into the kitchen through the back door, forgetting that Jacob had ever been born, she was there to remind him."Please," she said."Turn around and look at Jacob when you go to school in the mornings. It will make him happy. You dont even have to smile." the background of this significance text is that paul has a brother and he has down syndrome, his name is Jacob, and Paul doesnt like him, he refuses to even say hi to him on his way to school. His mom tries to make him turn around to even look at him and that will make jacob happy but Paul doesnt even do it because as i said, he doesnt like Jacob just because he is different.I choose this quote of the story and thought its significant because its a good chance for me to say that having a brother, sister, aunt, uncle, mom, dad, cousin or any kind of relative being "Different" doesnt mean we have to mistreat them and make them feel any more different than they already know they are, in other words we have to just love them the way they are because that's the way its suppose to be. I left off on a good part when Paul was flashbacking to where Jacob was first born and how everybody didnt treat him included in the family no more. My prediction on what will happen next is that he will continue to tell more and what happened when Jacob started existing in his life and his parents's life.

Books on surviving struggles are the best.
I havent really finished reading my book but what i like about it so far is that the narrator writes with emotion and its nice.At first when i started reading it i wasnt really interested in it cus it didnt catch my attention but as i started reading it more i got into it. It's sad the things the narrator had to go through growing up.His name is Luis, and he was into all that gangster stuff cus ofcourse he was surrounded by a lot of bad stuff so he was tempted to do what was happening in his neighborhood. There's not alot i can say of what i liked cus this book "Always Running" is pretty sad and only tells events about violence and the struggle.Luis wanted to tell his story so that people can know that if he made it out of that gangster life, so can anyone who doesnt wanna have that life anymore.
There's quite a few things i didnt like about this book. Theres too much violence involved and a lot of suffering which i hate. It just gets me so sad how people are such pigs who think that stuff is cool or who think that stuff is gonna help them be successful. As soon as im done reading the book im currently reading, i would like to read a book about about achieving goals or about someone who has strived to get to success. I dont know any authors or any specific titles that have what i wanna read but anything thats almost close to it will do for me. Im very interested in reading a book like that becus they inspire me and help me want to be something to life and those books give me tips on how to reach my goals.
